You can register for eRedbook using an email address. Alternatively you can register using your Facebook login.

If you register with your email address:

  1. Go to beta.eRedbook.org.uk
  2. Click Register
  3. Click REGISTER WITH EMAIL ADDRESS
  4. Enter your email address and click SEND EMAIL CODE. In order to verify your email address you entered eRedbook will email you a verification code.
  5. Check your email and enter the verification code you received. Click SUBMIT CODE
  6. Click CONTINUE when your email address is verified.
  7. Create and re-enter a new password. Click CONTINUE.
  8. Create your profile by entering your first name (required), last name (required), and your NHS number. Click CONTINUE
  9. Create your first child health record by entering your child’s first name, last name, date-of-birth (required - if your baby is not born yet enter your expected due date), postcode (required). Click CONTINUE
  10. Set up your account preferences by consenting to the Terms-Of-Use/Privacy statements. It is highly recommended that you agree to share profile details with health professionals so that they can connect your eRedbook to the NHS (and give you access to your child’s health records online). Click CREATE eREDBOOK

If you register with your Facebook login:

  1. Go to beta.eRedbook.org.uk
  2. Click Register
  3. Click CONTINUE WITH FACEBOOK
  4. Enter the email address and password you use to log into Facebook. Click Log In
  5. Create your profile by entering your first name (required), last name (required), and your NHS number. Click CONTINUE
  6. Create your first child health record by entering your child’s first name, last name, date-of-birth (required - if your baby is not born yet enter your expected due date), postcode (required). Click CONTINUE
