How to get a connected (only for parents/carers in London)

When one of the child records in your eRedbook is connected to the NHS they send you a copy of that child’s health records direct to your eRedbook (as they become available).

  1. In your privacy settings, make sure you check the option to allow health professionals to access profile information about yourself and your child. They need this to find your eRedbook.
  2. Make sure your child’s name and date of birth are up-to-date in the child record/profile you want to connect.
  3. Speak to your midwife or health visitor and ask them to authorise your eRedbook and connect it to the NHS so that you can receive your child's health records.
